Wat Saphan Hin
The Wat Saphan Hin temple, founded in the 13th century, is known to contain a colossal Buddha image. This figure, Called Phra Attharot by the locals, is about 13 meters high, standing in the Abhaya Mudra position, with his right hand raised with the palm facing forward, representing protection, peace and benevolence.
Wat Sorosak
Wat Sorasak temple, founded in the 15th century, is located in the central sector of Sukhothai historical park, still within the city walls. Framed in a wide area, where the green stands out and it is possible to glimpse other temples and ruins, the highlight resides in the sulptures of elephants that, side by side, make the base of the chedi.
Wat Chetuphon
The Wat Chetupon temple, which is practically all in ruins, is believed to have had a great importance in the last period of the Kingdom of Sukhothai. However, what survived the passage of time, makes a visit worthwhile.
