Wat Benjamabhopit is one of the main Buddhist temples in Bangkok. Built in 1900, it is known for various reasons and usualy named as the Marble Temple, for obvious reasons.
Built with Italian marble, it is filled with beautiful architectural details. It is a perfect place to relax, while contemplating the whole complex, owner of a super serene environment.
In this temple are also deposited the ashes of a king, under a sculpture of Buddha with the style of Sukhothai. Apart from this, you can find dozens of other statues, representing the various ways of Buddhism.
In this sanctuary, which is represented in the 5 bath coins, you can still count on a great movement of monks who, between ceremonies and daily routines, give even more color to the place.
